KINGSFOLD – the two day show
IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO KINGSFOLD SHOW THIS YEAR ( 2021) THE ADVERTISEMENT IN OLD GLORY MAGAZINE WAS UNCOMMISSIONED BY THE ORGANISERS AND THE GIVEN DATES WOULD BE TOTALLY INCORRECT EVEN IF THE SHOW WAS GOING AHEAD . HOPEFULLY THE SHOW WILL RETURN IN 2022 .
Kingsfold – Covid cancellation 2021
Due to the ongoing situation with the Coronavirus Pandemic and guideline for large gatherings being delayed the Committee have regrettably come to the decision even if restrictions are eased that it would be sensible not to hold the Kingsfold rally this year. We would like to thank you for your support in the past years and look forward to seeing you all in 2022.
Kingsfold Show and Kite Festival is held every September and although it is organised by Alan and Lynne Cullen who normally run a Stationary Engine Group,the show has so much more to offer than just Stationary Engines.The show encompasses a wide range of displays from all aspects of the Vintage,Classic and Heritage movements and includes the annual Kite Festival.
Entries are welcomed from (but not limited to) owners of Classic and Vintage Cars, Commercials (both large and small) Vans and Pick Ups, Fire Engines, Motor Cycles and Scooters, Classic Camper Vans, Fair Organs, Steam Engines and Rollers (all sizes and scales) Stationary Engines, Farm Machinery, Tractors, Model and RC Boats (a lake is available for displaying your boat) along with Lawnmowers and Horticultural Equipment, Space will also be allocated for static awning displays and collections.
There are regular Arena displays,Trade Stands ,a family Fun Fair and the added attraction of the “Deadwood” Wild West Village ,with Cowboy and North American Indian dispays
The Kite Festival provides an added attraction .
The Sussex and Kent Weald Stationary Engine Group run their ever popular Club Tent “Bring and Buy” sales area where many a bargain can be had .
The show is held at :
Wattlehurst Farm, Dorking Road,Kigsfold, RH12 3SD and is open to the public from 10 am until 4-30 pm ( Gates open 09.30 am) Both days , A map can be found HERE
Camping is available for those staying for both days .
Public Admission Charges ( for those not entered with a display item )
Adult £7.50 OAP/Child £5 Family -2 adults 2 children £20 .
